Made my first boat for many years. All parts arrived and all fitted together. Can be a bit gruff on the phone but given the current situation who wouldn't be. Electrical installation required a trip to UTube . Can be a little expensive but the quality is excellent. Nick was very helpful in suggesting an alternative model as a starter. Made up the value with the ideal motor.... very busy time but model finished and I'm very proud of it. Waiting to sail it with the Grandchildren post Corona.......
Aweful company, sell cheap faulty chinese RC items for expensive prices, I tried for weeks to send back but they kept messing me around! The RC Controller did not work, the smoke did not work, i had to buy a new controller in the end to get the tank to work, but then i find out the RC tank battery only last 5 mins after a full 4 hours charge, plus the range is only 3 metres any further and the tank just cuts out!! this company is a complete joke! Very obnoxious customer service, DO NOT USE THESE CON ARTISTS.
After Emailing them about a RC Tank I was interested in buying I asked them if they would test/try the tank for me they said no problem at all ( I had had a bad experience by buying one over the Internet without seeing it) I travelled down from Birmingham and they showed me the tank I was interested in buying and then tested and showed me how to operate it. I must say that they where helpful and friendly and would certainly use them again.
They have moved to Kidlington station industrial estate. Much easier to park! Less of a warren to wander around, but good stocks. Concentrating more on mail order these days.
Staffed by rude and arrogant people, I will never go in this shop again.
Prices are high and specials not very special!
The gentleman who served me was very attentive and helpful in identifying the various items I was looking for to bring my old Hornby Dublo set back into working order and gave useful information about an upcoming model railway event nearby. A very valuable visit.
I am very, very disappointed with this shop certainly will NOT be dealing with it again, "once bitten twice shy" bad service, poor telephone manner, and very arrogant to me. In my opinion this how it runs its business it is to be avoided.
this shop is no longer at this address and there was no forwarding address shame as this was the best model shop in oxford
